The Scott Spark is a fast and lightweight cross county bike with a full suspension that is fast on any trail. Designed based on the elite Spark RC, it is less expensive and features more travel. This version comes with a Fox 34 Float rear shock and Fox Nude 5T Fork for 120mm or rear travel and 130mm at the front. Short chainstays and a race ready geometry make it very responsive. This combination leads to a more compliant ride that can take on tougher trails. The Scott spark 920 balances speed with capability for a fast and fun ride.
Scotts TwinLoc Suspension System pairs with the shock for on-the-fly adjustments. It has three ride modesDescend, Traction Control, and Lockoutcontrolled by a handlebar remote that adjusts the shock, fork, and frame geometry simultaneously. Lockout mode maximizes efficiency for sprints and smooth climbs, while Traction Control mode optimizes power transfer and grip on technical terrain. When fully open in Descend mode, the suspension delivers maximum compliance and control. The TwinLoc remote also integrates dropper post actuation, keeping all controls within easy reach for seamless operation. The frame of the Spark is made with a combination of lightweight carbon fiber and durable aluminum. The mainframe is made with their HMF carbon which is very lightweight and stiff. It is less expensive than HMX carbon while still being plenty light for a race bike. An alloy swingarm drops the price and makes it very durable for challenging trails. The Scott Spark 920 does not make riders choose between durability and speed.
The front end of the Spark is complete with Syncros components, providing an intuitive and reliable front end. It also features a SRAM GX Eagle AXS groupset, offering 12-speed electronic shifting made for MTB riders at a great price.
