Used The bike will be 14 years old in July and was my father's pride and joy until his passing in 2016 when I inherited it and have since enjoyed several thousand miles of easy cycling including regular commuting of distances around 20-25 miles using throttle power (no pedalling). The time has come for me to sell it and let someone else enjoy the comfort and experience it offers. It is not the lightest of bikes at 136kg/300ilbs but being step-through it is suited for both men and women. (I have taken it on many trains)The full specifications are given on the photos of the original sales literature. It has had a new front wheel and I believe two new tyres during its life. The rear hub mounted motor has an integral Dia Compe roller brake (see photo of PDF description) which does require an overhaul as on my final ride in December I discovered it is not working. The only other minor issue is with the pedal assist control mounted on the left handlebar which in my last forty mile journey had an intermittent fault - cutting out briefly before resuming - which I'm attributing to its susceptibility to water intrusion and the fact that the bike had been unridden for around nine months and stored in a specially constructed bike shed. The photos hopefully show that the bike is in a great overall condition with wear and tear evident on the rear mudguard. It comes with a range of accessories including the original panniers and a more recent set (both with water-proof covers). A second battery and charger was acquired in 2016/7 (see photos of invoices) and obviously it doesn't have the range of a new battery but I did make two twenty mile rides in December with charge still remaining at the end of each. The original battery hasn't been tested or used in many years. Each battery has a separate key to attach it to the bike frame and the bike lock comes with two keys. There is a relatively new bell and phone holder/horn/light device with original box, instructions and USB charging cable.
