Orbea Rise is a bicycle designed to expand your Trail experience and get closer to live the moment. Rise makes you feel that a "less electric" bike is "more bicycle". Orbea has long searched the best way to achieve this goal and, when Shimano has shared the plans for the new EP8 engine, they immediately realized that this fantastic engine offered us the perfect platform on which to build the RS power concept. Rise has a modular battery solution that supplies up to 612 WH, combining a high-light and compact 360 WH main battery integrated into the oblique tube with a 252 WH range expecting a patent. The RS concept allows you to spend fantastic days in the saddle, because the lighter bike, lower energy consumption and, of course, weight and assistance to measure pedaling extend battery life of over 1.5 times. The 2.2 kg main battery is probably one of the lighter and thin on the market. Housing in a robust and reliable alloy case, this energy source is based on the brand new 21700 cell, which provides a higher charge and discharge speed and, ultimately, a battery life and a much better heating management. The elegance of simplicity is undeniable. Many cyclists pass hours to remove excess weight, noise and visual distractions from their bicycles. Rise weighs only 16.5 kg. The beauty of the RS system is that the torque and power are provided within an interval in which it is still possible to use normal high quality components for trail bikes.
