Used I bought this bike new in July 2017. It has been meticulously looked after i.e. only ridden very occasionally, only in dry weather, always carefully washed and dried after each ride and stored inside. I would estimate that it has only been ridden for less than 1,000 miles and is in exceptional condition. The bike rides as if new, I am unaware of any faults on the bike. A few months after I bought it I was contacted by the dealer and advised that the carbon steerer was subject to a Merida recall for replacement and this was performed early 2018. It was serviced approx 12 months ago by the local bike shop who charged me 50 to check and adjust where necessary - no replacement parts required. I have just checked the chain wear and it does not need replacing. The only marks I can find are highlighted in the photos (they look worse in the photos than they are). There is a slight scuff on the rear derailleur where I didn't clip out my right foot in time when I had stopped and I toppled over and landed on my shoulder, elbow and hip. I genuinely loved riding this bike but the truth is that I don't use it (mainly because I've reached the age where I find some car users on the roads here in the South East a bit scary) and it is just taking up space. Any inspection or test ride welcome. It's a great bike and I'll be sorry to see it go.
