After winning the Hawaii Ironman Kuota realized it was time to expand its horizons and create a frame that suites a larger array of triathletes then the lighter faster Kalibur. Shortl after Kuota design the K-Factor. The Kuota K-Factor is a full monocoque frame set including a Carbon fork, Headset and Seat post. The K-Factor meets some of the same aerodynamic tests as the Kalibur. It features a wheel cutout and vertical dropouts to shorten that wheel base and increase aerodynamics by closing the gab between the wheel and frame.
